David Salazar

Pastor David Salazar, was born in San Francisco, California and lived in the area until the age of 21.

Work

Pastoring the Seventh-day Adventist churches in Holly and Grand Blanc.  These two churches has been pastor’s Salazar 4th and 5th churches.  He started out in the ministry as an Associate Pastor in Central American Adventist University in Costa Rica, where he also was the Dean of the Men’s Dormitory and taught Old Testament Theology and Biblical Hebrew.  After, he worked as the Youth Pastor as the Berrien Springs (MI) Spanish church while pursuing his MDiv degree.  Prior to graduating, he was the interim pastor at Chickaming in Sawyer, Michigan.  He began working in the Michigan Conference in 2007. In the winter of 2015, he and his wife accepted a call to the Central California Conference.

Education

After complete High School, Pastor Salazar attended a local Community College near his home.  He completed his Associates Degree while taking a good number of courses in Telecommunications. From there he attended Southern Adventist University, where he earned his Bachelors Degree in Theology, and in 2010 he completed his Masters studies in Divinity at the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary at the campus of Andrews University.

Hobbies

When not working, Pastor Salazar enjoys spending time with his wife, enjoying sports and engaging with electronics.
