The Sermon on the Mount can be considered a Constitution for the Kingdom of God. The Beatitudes present a preamble of what its citizen’s are like; they are blessed/happy. But the condition of the people who are blessed is mind-blowing: poor, hungry, mourning and hated. How can this be possible, in a world that tells you the opposite, by the message of the Gospel that Love Wins! Because love wins in the lives of the citizens of God’s kingdom, no matter what condition and circumstance they may find themselves in… they are bleed.
